Our Story
From One Warung to Six Outlets
A story of passion, hard work and authentic mamak heritage rooted right here in Shah Alam
“Every plate tells a story of our heritage and our community.”
— Encik Razz Ibrahim, Founder
It all began in 2010 when Encik Razz Ibrahim, a third-generation mamak cook from Penang, moved to Shah Alam with a dream: to bring the real taste of Penang nasi kandar to the people of Selangor. Armed with his grandfather’s recipes and a borrowed tawa, he opened a tiny warung in Seksyen 7.
Word spread fast. Within a year, the warung was packed every morning and evening. Customers came back not just for the food, but for the warmth and the feeling of home. By 2015, Razz Curry House had expanded to three locations. Today, we proudly operate six full-service outlets across Shah Alam, serving thousands of customers daily.
The Beginning — Seksyen 7 Warung
Encik Razz opens his first humble mamak stall with just 8 tables and 3 menu items. Customers queue from 7am.
First Expansion — Setia Alam
Growing demand leads to our second full restaurant, seating 80 guests and open until midnight.
Catering Division Launched
We begin serving weddings, kenduri and corporate events across Selangor. Catering becomes a core pillar.
